A 3’31” lead for Sainz at waypoint 2
Spaniard Carlos Sainz (VW) passed through waypoint 2 (113 km) in the lead, 3'31” ahead of Stephane Peterhansel (Mitsubishi), who stopped for 1 minute just before waypoint 1.
