For the 29th edition of the Dakar Rally, the Valeo Motor Sports website will offer a "live" view of the race to their internet surfers. During 15 days, Sandy will record the event using aids such as texts, videos, and voice recordings. She will be at the heart of the Dakar amongst the Mitsubishi Team.

My name is Sandy and in four words; I love motor sports!  Since I was a child, I have dreamed about participating in the Dakar. Presently I have the chance of my lifetime as this dream has come true. I will be amongst the team, with the drivers, moving from one bivouac to another, following their quest to finish this race. I have been Luc Alphand's communication manager for a year and it's an incredible feeling to be able to share this challenge with him!






The Dakar Rally is the most mediatised of all the cross country rallies and I would like to go on a journey with you.  Thanks to this blog, with my camera and video camera, we will follow together the most intense moments of the team sharing the exciting news of the Dakar participants! Africa is yours to discover.






Through the Dakar, I hope to share my passion with you.  Please do not hesitate to send me your questions.  If you have specific subjects which stimulate your curiosity, I will be more than happy to investigate. I am also sure, that every once in a while, Luc will be able to join me in order to give you his impressions!
